St Teresa’s, like many schools across the North West during the winter months, has many children off sick with symptoms of sore throat, headache and a high temperature, (and in some cases vomiting and diarrhoea). The symptoms crossover different conditions. Common cold viruses are most prevalent in school but there are also background Streptococcus A Bacterial infections including scarlet fever. Select the 'Late/Absence Procedures' page for further information. There is a form at the bottom of 'Late/Absence Procedures' page that can be used to report a pupil absence.
