Welcome to the St. Teresa's Catholic School PTFA page on the school's website.
The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association run events throughout the school year in order to raise funds for the school. This extra fundraising enables the school to spend that little bit extra giving the children at St. Teresa's something extra special during their time at the school.
Events are run throughout the school year, and annual events include the meet and greet disco in September which enables the new children and parents to socialise with the existing families,termly film nights for the children, Christmas family event, Valentine's disco for the children, Easter family event, Summer Ball for the grown ups and the summer gala.
In 2016/17 we raised a fantastic £4119! Of this, £3000 has been given for improvements to the school library, £350 to the school council for their plans to improve the junior playground (as decided by the juniors!) and £100 to the eco council for materials for the group to use.
The PTFA committee meets regularly to organise events and liaise with the teaching staff and school council to make sure the money raised is made good use of!
