Dear Parents / Carers,
We wanted to let you know that St Teresa's PTFA is now a registered charity with "easyfundraising" and "AmazonSmile".
Since our fundraising events are on hold, this is a great opportunity to keep raising much needed funds for the school.
AmazonSmile is exactly the same as Amazon in terms of content and pricing and so rather than shopping via Amazon, if you shop via AmazonSmile, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the school.
You can either go via this link https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ch/1100766-0 to sign into AmazonSmile which will then automatically link you to our PTFA charity or you can sign in at https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ and search for charity number 1100766. Once you have linked once, the next time you use
You can also then add AmazonSmile in the settings menu of the Amazon Shopping app (using latest version).
There are over 4,000 retailers on the easyfundraising platform from John Lewis, Argos, M&S, eBay, ASOS and Just Eat to the more mundane parts of life such as insurance, broadband, energy and mobile phone providers with all the major comparison websites included. So there is huge potential for raising additional funds for school at no extra cost.
If you are not already signed up, it only takes a few minutes, then you can begin using the easyfundraising website or app straightaway - simply shop online as normal.
Plus, if you sign up and raise £5 in donations, easyfundraising will give the school another bonus £5 donation.
All you have to do is:
1. Go to: You shop. St Teresa's Catholic Primary School PTFA - Penwortham gets money. For free
2. Click 'support this cause' and create an account
If signing up via the app, please search for "St Teresa's Catholic Primary School PTFA - Penwortham" and you should recognise our rainbow logo.
Purely by shopping online via these links, we could potentially raise thousands of pounds for the school - especially from switching providers.
Please feel free to also share the details with friends and family for them to use whilst shopping online.
As always, thank you for your continued support.
Jillian Holmes and the PTFA
